(OBSOLETE - NEW VERSION LINKED) Items for Alva's Double Corruption Chamber in 3.14 - Path of Exile

This covers both SSF and trade league, although SSF uses will vary a lot.
How chamber works:
For any input item that isn't a freshly scoured Sacrificial Garb:
- 25% to outright destroy
- 25% to reroll with a random influence (usually ruining the item)
- 25% to bleach ALL sockets white (this has no effect on items without the capacity for item sockets)
- 25% to replace existing implicits with TWO vaal implicits
- In all cases, the item becomes corrupted, losing the ability to gain quality, be enchanted, have benchcrafts added or be divined.
Remember, you can sell your Temple instance securely now!
Criteria:
- Relatively replaceable item. In SSF this means an item you have two of, in trade, something you can afford to lose.
- Doesn't already have a great implicit.
- Conceivably best in slot for popular builds (trade) or your present build or a planned future one (SSF)
- In an item slot that has strong 'best case scenario' corruptions
- In trade, don't bother with items that have divination cards for them that come two-implicit krangled.
Suggestions for various item slots
- Belt:
(OPTIONAL: Add a Harvest Labyrinth enchant first; I don't suggest chasing a perfect one, just get one)
Dyadian Dawn with 20% "Abrasive" quality in trade. This belt is cheap, best-in-slot on a meta build, and belts have some very strong corruptions
Replica Soul Tether (6% roll, 17% tempering quality). This belt is uncommon but not irreplaceable even in SSF.
- Gloves:
Shaper's Touch. This is extremely easily farmed, and very very very good in trade and SSF if you look into Inquisitor Cast on Critical Strike builds. Almost half use these gloves.
Honourable mention: 'reasonably well' crafted ilvl 85+ influenced gloves with really good influence mods. The rare glove influence mod pool is amazing.
- Chest
A quick note on links. If you are in trade league, a Vaal Orb is about 1.06 fusing orbs (at the time of this video).
It's optimal to 20q your item, six socket your item manually, THEN attempt the double corrupt, and ONLY if you hit a premium double corrupt to spend the 1500 fuses and 1500 vaals to use the usually awful value 6 link recipe. If you don't hit hard you probably scrap the item.
This advice will change if Vaals start to exceed 5 fusings, which can happen. It has happened before. At that point, 6L before attempting the double corrupt.
In SSF, I'd only corrupt chests you happen to have drop 6L already.
Trade - Shavronne's Wrappings. In trade, this item is readily available uncorrupted for ~40c (remember the div card The Offering). It's also achieveable in SSF but no small feat to farm 8 of that card.
SSF - If you have a Skin of the Loyal drop, or a set of Dapper Prodigy that you craft into a reasonable set of armor - here's an opportunity to use it well. Or just use your 'old' 6L late in the league when you have a better one.
One to skip: Eternity Shroud.
Jewel:
1. Might of the Meek. More useful in trade than SSF (as it needs Unnatural Instinct to truly shine), this jewel is still OK without it, and jewel corrupts can be amazing.
2. "Middle of the pack" rolled aura effect cluster jewels. We aren't talking the best of the best here. Think Replenishing Presence + First Among Equals + 2 adequate suffixes on a 4 or 5 passive base; not Powerful + Replenishing Presence + 2 awesome suffixes on a 6 passive base. (In SSF, only if you are using an aura stacker, of course)
Shield:
1. (Trade Only - aurastackers can use it in SSF but it's hard to get two of them) Prism Guardian. So many good corruptions, only two or three bad ones.
2. (SSF) An adequately well rolled Shaper influenced rare shield. Shaper shields are really good now.
Weapon:
Physical damage two-handed axes. Don't use your best one, use your second best. Or in trade, spend only what you can afford to lose (remember, Heist drops a lot of really good physical DPS weapons)
You have about a 1 in 800 chance to hit perfect - "Socketed gems are supported by level 1 Lifetap AND level 10 Fortify"
If you did, congratulations on acquiring the best axe in Path of Exile.
There's other OK options you can hit too.
