Broken Promises - Path of Exile's Most Exciting Recent Divination Card - POE 3.14
111Added in the Ultimatum expansion, Broken Promises is an ultra-high variance divination card. Turning it in is like identifying a Watcher's Eye - you have a slim chance of getting something truly amazing.
Unfortunately as a very rare card it's almost trade league only.
At best, you can get a two-implicit ring with +1 max Power Charges and "Gain Arcane Surge On Spell Hit", which will sell for 500 to 1000 exalts.
More realistically, you could hit +1 max to a charge type with a bad mod (20-100 exalts), or something less powerful but still great like I hit in this video (6% strength with another good mod).
I can't be sure as we don't know the relative rarity of all of the possible mods, but in my opinion, this card is extremely undervalued. I paid 8.7 exalts for the ten sets turned in on this video (about 50c per card) and after a bit of market research I now expect to sell the best ring for 12-20 exalts. (During the vid I thought it was cheaper than it was). I also didn't hit anything truly amazing - the ring I hit was like getting a Watcher's Eye with just Malevolence DOT multi - pretty good, but far from uber.
If you know where this card drops, please let me know! I've heard rumours it drops from Mausoleum map's boss (Tolman) but cannot confirm this.
