Octopath Traveler II: A breakthrough
0You know what time it is if you seen older videos, it's time for revenge! I take the same team back to the clock tower to deal with that bird from last time just a bit stronger than before and with a couple better summons. The reward was a pretty good accessory, in fact its one I tend to keep on at least one unit in the party. We also finish the side-quest for the clock tower which has a nice side effect in the real world when you change time.
Naturally I take another detour and check some other high level areas before making story progress with anyone... so a trip to a graveyard, a forsaken one at that. Man are some of the enemies tough here, getting caught by surprise was extremely bad. Eventually we do make it to the big mini boss with a pretty silly gimmick for the fight. At least we get a Forbidden Blade for our efforts.
Next a pit stop at a church to get Temenos one of his Ex Skills... and then Ochette's... and then I explore a bit more... is it obvious that I get sidetracked easily? Btw herb of grace buds can be obtained from the gators I fight in one of the areas. I will regret this later a little.
Eventually I start to feel bad about not actually making progress so even though I find the sinking ruins I decide to focus more on Casttis stuff.... BUT FIRST LET ME GET HER EX SKILL!
Okay, finally, I start Castti's chapter 2 going with the winterbloom town first dealing with a sick woman and her family drama, then to Sai and its... civil unrest I guess? I wasn't paying fully attention but we help save some people from the sands and the things lurking in them.
