Octopath Traveler II: Hunting for answers.
0It's time to procrastinate again before finishing up all of Ochette's chapter 2 stuff and find Glacis. There I actually find a pretty good mushroom monster that does a staff hit then ice magic to all enemies.
Then I decide that it's time to test my strategy against karma, but first I need to find a Majestic Snow Marmot for its hand somersault ability that will let Ochette do some damage and gain a side step without costing any SP. There are other monsters with the somersault and the hunter axe skill cleaving blow also gives a sidestep when used on karma... but I remembered the monster first. You can find them in the ruffian hideout area.
The Karma fight itself went perfectly I think, between warrior vengeful blade and aggressive slashing it makes breaking a lot easier, porcupine does give a counterattack to a random party member but since its just ochette then it will always go to her, and having an axe that gives a % of damage dealt as hp back for sure helped in this fight. Could have probably used an almighty stone as well for the no weakness phase.
And after the fight we get the prize... of which I forgot that I had a sidequest for... oh well... also I pick up two more warrior licenses since I had the job points to get all the skills with some characters.
