Octopath Traveler II: It's all secondary.
1Let's go get those jobs!
First up is the Cleric's guild... not much to say here, but its nice that their altar is in the same place as the guild... too bad I didn't have temenos with me at the time and that its not a fast travel point.
Then exploring a bit and finding a place called Seat of the Water Sprite where apparently the rusty staff is hiding out... Really enjoying the fact that I'm just wandering around and finding amazing stuff.
Next we check out a town called montwise and its library, picking up a few side-quests before we go get the rusty staff restored.
For the thieves guild I'll admit, I looked up a guide a bit cause I figured all the other secondary job places are in lvl 18 type areas and I had explored all that... I think... and still hadn't found it, so instead of going through everywhere again... yeah, guide. Anyways upper area of Clockbank at night time.
Now with all the job guilds found I should start the chapter 2 stuff finally.... but I of course procrastinate and start exploring some more, won't hurt to visit the other towns and get fast travel right?
We do find a mysterious box from a kid in a town called Merry Hills, he's just up top muttering to himself and thanks us when we take the box off his hands... I'm sure I'll figure out where to go with this later.
After that, we end up in a town named stormhail, where apparently two different groups enforce the laws here, but do absolutely nothing about a woman holding a man and his daughter hostage in their store.
Finally, I take ochette and try to see what all the fuss was about that door wanting me to come alone and there I find a man and have a chat about a sword... a few times.... yeah that didn't go well, maybe next time.
