So the Oculus Rift's creator got bought by Facebook, and there has been an even bigger backlash than when Tumblr was bought by Yahoo, Skype by Microsoft, or Marvel by Disney, even though FB has kept many of the bigger companies they owned separate like instagram. Especially since if VR is supposed to be the new thing, it has to be with more than gaming right?

Nobody is waiting to see what will happen, and many, from Notch to random gamers on YT to imageboards, are already having knee-jerk reactions. These are my thoughts on the whole situation.
