Streamed/Recorded on 11-1-23. Continuing from the Greenhouse area. Nearby,we end up fighting a Boss-type enemy called a Gate Keeper. It doesn't get staggered very well,but sometimes it will if you manage to hit it's head with the Shotgun. It also kneels at about half HP to give you a few free hits. Just be ready to heal,since dodging isn't really an option. He drops a Key needed to enter the Graveyard (which is an altered area,depending on if you're in Third-Person or Over-The-Shoulder). You have to find 2 Key Halves around here to create the Church Key,and one of the halves is guarded by a tanky Zombie creature. Later on we find a Bow Gun,a good upgrade to the Pistol. We also have to toss the Empty Antique Paper into the blue fire in that same area to get a Strange Note,which activates that trio of three levers found in the Garden,Greenhouse,and Graveyard. Once all 3 are correctly aligned,Alicia can enter a new door taking her to some underground catacombs. This ends up bringing her back to the Mansion,sort of like the Mansion Return from RE1. New doors are open here now,and a new threat shows itself too: Cultists. They're faster than Zombies,and more dangerous. A Shotgun blast to the head can stun them. Once I was back in the Mansion,I started to enjoy the game more again. The outdoor areas didn't feel as fun.
