What is randomizer?: The layout of the game is unchanged, but all the treasure chests and other items required for 100% completion are put into a pool and randomly distributed back to those same locations. Song checks are distributed to other song checks. Starting age and save warp locations are also random (but consistent). The item distributor uses logic to ensure that every item is reachable and you never get stuck.
There are fast cutscenes and many quality of life changes. In the Weekly settings we play with open door of time so there is more mobility in the early game. Also in the weekly/standard/tournament races, most glitches are banned, so the run will be mostly #glitchless.
