Hi. Today I show you how looks and works latest development release of Linux OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 beta 2 - 2016 called Einsteinium.

OpenMandriva LX 3 - 2016 is now in second beta. Recently I presented stable release OpenMandriva Lx 2014.2, so If you like Linux in this flavor, watch my latest video.

The last stable release was equipped with a default KDE 4, the latest edition appeared already modern KDE Plasma 5.6 with a set of KDE Applications 16.04 and KDE Frameworks 5.23.0 is mainly through the necessary migration to a new release of KDE Plasma 5 on the new edition of the distribution OpenMandriva must we wait so long. However, everything indicates that the stable version OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 of 2016 should appear in a few months.

Distribution is equipped by default in KDE Plasma 5.6., Linux Kernel 4.6.2 nrJQL (a powerful variant of the 4.6.2 kernel. which according the developers of the system, should be very friendly for SSD disc users. This second beta has bring improved stability and performance and also for the first time, has accommodation for the Chinese and Japanese languages using fcitx to support their input methods.

In OpenMandriva Lx 3 beta 2 we can also get other desktop environments like: LXQt 0.10.0, xfce4 4.12.0 and also Wayland friendly hawaii-desktop and papyros-shell.

Among other changes include support for systemd 230, switch from Python 2.x to Python 3.X and use of LLVM / Clang 3.8 as default compiler - which results in the OpenMandriva is currently the only distribution which uses LLVM Clang as default.
OpenMandriva LX 3 also use as dafault new installer called Calamares 2.2 which provides fully support for EFI and UEFI.

The other packages Firefox 47, Chromium 51.0.2704.79, Qupzilla 2.0.1, LibreOffice 5.1.3, Java 8, the tools for printing and many other software. From sound things we have Alsa 1.1.1 and Pulseaudio 8.0. However, remember that these are applications that appear by default in this release, when you download system updates, you will get their upgrades to new versions.

OpenMandriva LX 3.0 - 2016 beta 2 version is still a test, so you should expect it in error, and as it turns out, these errors it still can find. For users looking for stability, I recommend attention to the latest stable version or OpenMandriva 2014.2. After all upcoming edition promises to be extremely interesting, of course, unless the developer fix carpet for the release of all errors.

After all, developers should be commended for continuing the tradition and maintaining the spirit of the legendary Mandriva / Mandrake alive. OpenMandriva LX 3.0 promises to be a successful system, I look forward to a stable release!

Cześć. Dzisiaj pokażę wam jak wygląda i działa ostatnie testowe wydanie ciekawej dystrybucji Linuksa, zwanej OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 beta 2 - 2016 zatytułowane Einsteinium.

Ostatnie stabilne wydanie było wyposażone w domyślne środowisko graficzne KDE 4, w najnowszym wydaniu pojawiło się już nowoczesne KDE Plasma 5.6 wraz z zestawem aplikacji KDE Applications 16.04, to w głównej mierze przez konieczną migrację na nowe wydanie KDE Plasma 5 na nowe wydanie dystrybucji OpenMandriva musimy czekać tak długo. Jednak wszystko wskazuje, że stabilna wersja OpenMandriva Lx 3.0 z 2016 roku, powinna pojawić się w przeciągu kilku miesięcy.

W systemie oprócz domyślnego środowiska KDE Plasma 5.6 znajdziemy także LXQt 0.10.0, xfce4 4.12.0 oraz przyjazne dla serwera Wayland hawaii-desktop i papyros-shell.
Warto dodać, że system posiada eksperymentalne wsparcie dla serwera grafiki Wayland 1.10.0, dodatkowo Weston jest obsługiwany w KDE Plasma 5. Nowe wydanie systemu wprowadza także domyślnie SDDM jako nowy lekki menadżer wyświetlania, napisany w Qt5 z użyciem QML.

Z innych zmian należy wymienić domyślą obsługę systemd 230 oraz wykorzystanie LLVM/clang 3.8 jako domyślnego kompilatora - co skutkuje, że OpenMandriva jest obecnie jedyną dystrybucją, która używa LLVM Clang.

Mimo wszystko należy pochwalić twórców za kontynuowanie tradycji i utrzymywaniu ducha legendarnej Mandrivy / Mandrake przy życiu.
OpenMandriva LX 3.0 zapowiada się na udany system, czekam z niecierpliwością na stabilne wydanie!
