4Today I'll show you how to download and install always current version of the popular and free office suite LibreOffice on almost any Linux.
LibreOffice (LO) is a multi-platform office suite available for free on the principle of free software licence. It is based on the source code of OpenOffice. To this day, it is being developed by The Document Foundation and has become one of the best office software available on the market, being able to compete with commercial solutions such as Microsoft MS Office.
LibreOffice is available for Windows, MacOS, BSD and Linux.
LibreOffice for Linux systems often comes with the distribution, but often in the system repositories is available outdated versions of it, so why I show you how to download and install the latest from official LibreOffice website.
1. Go to https://libreoffice.org/
2. Click the Download button and choose an interesting version, for the case of the latest version Fresh on Linux. Then select the system architecture x64 or x86 and type of system. Here are the available packages for systems using .deb packages - that is based on Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, Elementary and SteamOS and packages .rpm - for systems Fedora, OpenSuse, Mandriva, OpenMandriva, Mageia, RedHat and others.
3. You need to download the main installation package, and in the case of use of a language other than English, you must also download two additional files, ie. The translated interface and support package.
4. After downloading please unpack and install via the console or the default system installation manager extracted moment earlier packages.

1. Przejdź na stronę https://pl.libreoffice.org/pobieranie/
2. Kliknij w przycisk Pobierz i wybierz interesująca cię wersję, dla przypadku najnowszą wersję na Fresh dla systemu Linux. Następnie wybierz architekturę systemu x64 lub x86 oraz rodzaj systemu. Tutaj są udostępnione pakiety dla systemów wykorzystujących pakiety .deb - a więc opartych o Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, Elementary czy SteamOS oraz pakiety .rpm - dla systemów Fedora, OpenSuse, Mandriva, OpenMandriva, Mageia, RedHat i innych.
3. Należy pobrać główny pakiet instalacyjny, a w przypadku korzystanie z innego języka niż angielski, należy również pobrać dwa dodatkowe pliki tj. przetłumaczony interfejs oraz pakiet pomocy.
4. Po pobraniu należy rozpakować archiwa a następnie zainstalować za pomocą konsoli lub domyślnego systemowego menadżera instalacji wypakowane chwilę wcześniej pakiety.
