Ordering Decimals

Look at the position of the digits to tell you which number is larger than the other. Whichever number has the largest digit to the right of the decimal is the largest number. In the example below, since seven is larger than four, 0.714 is the largest number.If the digits to the right of the decimal points are the same, look to the next digits to determine which number is the largest. In the example below, since the first digits are the same, look to the second digits. Since the second and third digits are the same, look to the last digit. Since seven is larger than three, 0.1247 is the largest number.
