2021-09-18. Cannonball Out Run engine.
World = world layout, not Japan
Traffic = Normal
Time = Easy (80 seconds. Options: 80, 75, 72, 70)

1st play in over ~8 years. I've only played this once in the past 20 years. I crashed a few times trying to anticipate the course. I recalled it quite well from memory, along with the helpful turn signs, but they "hit" more quickly than expected at times.

Cannonball engine:
- scanlines = 10%, which ruins the YouTube video compression :(
- Cannonball is a C++ rewrite of the Out Run engine. It worked immediately, with no configuration required, with my Windows PC and my Xbox 360 controller. Steering control was proportional, and super easy; in fact, much easier than the arcade steering wheel, as it would be impossible to make the quick corrections I was making.
- I waited at the end for the auto play to show the "top outrunners" high score screen again, but the Cannonball engine decides to show off its new view modes (normal, in-car, overhead), along with the new AI that prevents it from crashing over and over (unfortunately, this means it hardly ever crashes).
