(English below) Gameplay de la versión en español de Outlaws, el shooter en primera persona de Lucas Arts lanzado en 1997 para PC, de temática del antiguo oeste, no muy habitual en el género para la época. Aparte de lo original de la ambientación por entonces, el juego tiene un buen diseño de niveles (un poco confuso a veces, eso sí), una historia un poco más trabajada de lo habitual para el género en los 90, con bastantes cinemáticas, y sobre todo destacaría la banda sonora al más puro estilo "spaghetti western".

Lo juego bajo Windows 98 emulado con el core DOSBox-Pure de RetroArch. Se rata de la versión 3DFX, que DOSBox emula bastante bien en este caso. Ya tenía un breve gameplay en el canal, pero por entonces con un i7 4770K el juego no se mantenía a 60 fps todo el tiempo. Ahora con un 13900K sí, no es que sea perfecto del todo (cosa de la emulación), pero en general va bastante bien teniendo en cuenta que es una emulación de una vieja API (Glide) bajo un Windows 98 emulado bajo un MS-DOS también emulado... o algo así XD

Este gampelay es simple curiosidad, pues en GOG venden una versión que se juega bastante bien y a más resolución (la 3DFX original va a 640x480 máximo), por lo tanto, no tiene mucho sentido jugarlo así. Bueno, si quieres jugarlo en español probablemente sí, pues yo al menos intenté traducir la versión de GOG sin éxito. Y la localización al español es bastante decente.

Iré trayendo más gameplays de juegos que vaya probando en DOSBox Pure con 3DFX.

Gameplay of the spanish version of Outlaws, the first person shooter by Lucas Arts released in 1997 for PC, with an old west theme, not very common in the genre at the time. Apart from the originality of the setting at the time, the game has a good level design (although a bit confusing at times), a story a little more worked than usual for the genre in the 90s, with many cinematics, and above all I would highlight the soundtrack in the style of "spaghetti western" movies.

I play it under Windows 98 emulated with DOSBox-Pure core from RetroArch. It's the 3DFX version, which DOSBox emulates quite well in this case. I already had a short gameplay in the channel, but back then with an i7 4770K the game didn't keep at 60 fps all the time.
