(English below) Hovertank 3D (también Hovertank a secas u Hovertank One) es un juego desarrollado por id Software y publicado por Softdisk en 1991. Se trata del primer juego en el que la compañía de John Carmack y John Romero se adentraba en el campo de los shooters en primera persona, género por el que se terminarían caracterizando, como bien sabemos.

Como se puede ver, se trata de un juego muy simple tanto en lo gráfico como en lo jugable, y jugarlo a día de doy es más una curiosidad que otra cosa por ver cómo empezó todo. En este gameplay muestro los primeros 10 niveles de los que consta el juego. Utilizo DOSBox ECE para jugarlo.

Hovertank 3D (also known as Hovertank or Hovertank One) is a game developed by id Software and published by Softdisk in 1991. It is the first game in which John Carmack and John Romero's company entered the genre of first-person shooters, for which they would end up being famous, as we well know.

As you can see, it is a very simple game both graphically and in terms of gameplay, and playing it nowadays is more of a curiosity than anything else to see how it all started. In this gameplay I show the first 10 levels of the game. I use DOSBox ECE to play it.
