(English below) El mismo autor de Doom: PRBoom Ray Traced, sultim-t, adaptó también a un sistema de iluminación avanzado por trazado de rayos el clásico de id Software de 1996 con una versión especial del source port vkQuake.

Como ya tengo un gameplay en el canal del primer episodio con otro mod, aquí muestro el 2º, jugando en dificultad "hard" y mostrando todos los secretos. Juego a 4K, y podréis observar que incluso a la poderosa RTX 4090 le cuesta alcanzar los 60 fps en algunos momentos a esta resolución.

Decir que con la tecla F podemos activar y desactivar la iluminación RT, y eso hago en varias ocasiones, para mostrar la diferencia, y también en ocasiones lo hago para ver algo en zonas demasiado oscuras.

Es necesario la carpeta /id1 del juego original. Si se tiene el juego instalado en Steam, lo detectará y copiará lo necesario automáticamente.

The same author of Doom: PRBoom Ray Traced, sultim-t, also adapted the 1996 id Software classic to an advanced ray-traced lighting system with a special version of the vkQuake source port.

As I already have a gameplay in the channel of the first episode with another mod, here I show the 2nd one, playing in "hard" difficulty and showing all the secrets. I play at 4K, and you can see that even for the powerful RTX 4090 it's hard to reach 60 fps in some moments at this resolution.

With the F it can enable and disable the RT lighting, and I do that on several occasions, to show the difference, and also sometimes I do it to see something in too dark areas.

You need the /id1 folder of the original game. If you have the game installed on Steam, it will detect it and copy what is needed automatically.
