I don't normally highlight things on these Panel de Pon routing streams, but I happened to run into an event that several in the community are convinced has happened to them multiple times. We believed that this game and Tetris Attack will occasionally "eat" garbage, as in not all of the garbage you send ends up falling on your opponent. Tonight, I ran into a stage where I was able to reproduce this glitch multiple times, the one time I was able to walk through what went wrong being highlighted here.

My theory on why this happens is this: when the field gets topped with garbage, sometimes the final pixel of the upcoming row inches upward and makes a new row to interact with. I am wondering if that inch upward, when it makes a new row, removes the next garbage block above the board in the stack entirely. The inching was the only circumstance in which I could trigger the glitch.
