Panorama Cotton is another one of those weird Anime Japanese-only titles where the game feels like a hybrid of Super Fantasy Zone and Puyo Puyo mixed together. The game tells the story of a fairy kingdom where someone has been burning all the willows there, if it doesn't stop the fairy kingdom will not flower and go into ruin and the good witch ''Cotton'' loves eating them and can't stand the fact that the willows are being burned just for someone's amusement, so the good witch Cotton teams up with the fairy ''Silk'' and they set out to strange fantasy worlds to stop the culprit from burning anymore willows.

Every character has the name of a fabric. (Cotton, Silk, Velvet, Wool).

The game play is incredible, the graphics are very well done and the soundtrack is simply amazing! And guess what? It sounds even better in 50Hz, more laid back and relaxed like normal retail music. Track 16 even sounds like the band (The Police).

The music is very poppy-Japanese sounding and uses the SMPS 68k driver. I was able to find this out through my Mega EverDrive X7. Games that save gameplay with music use 68k sound drivers and games that save gameplay without the music use Z80 sound drivers. This game saves gameplay with music so it's 68k based. The game was developed by a company called ''Success'' and published by Sunsoft, Sunsoft have their own sound driver in Z80 which optimises 50Hz by default, this soundtrack is not 50Hz optimised and so it does not use the Sunsoft Custom driver (despite sounding very Sunsoftish). It is none other than SMPS in 68000 mode.

I originally recorded the CD while the wife had the dryer on in the background, this proved to be fatal as the dryer has an hour cycle and stops and starts again every minute and goes in reverse, now the problem is that every time the dryer stops and starts again it makes a loud popping noise and it comes out in the audio recording of the music. So at the exact second of every minute of the CD you hear a loud POP, i've since re-recorded the soundtrack without the dryer running and that's the version here.

Enjoy this upload cause' it will be the only one ever in 50Hz, amongst the 100 other uploads all in 60Hz on the internet.
