Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door playthrough Part 43
Once Mario has the boat power, there's a few new places he can explore in the Pirate's Cove. Behind one of the waterfalls is a hidden area with a badge chest. What we're aiming to do is drop down the huge waterfall around here and travel to the left. You'll soon find the Crank on a boat wreckage. This is used on the winch nearby to open the sluice. Climb back up the waterfall and drop down again to go through the sluice gate. Avoid the waves to enter a new area of the Cove. Here you'll find a bunch of Toads who've been shipwrecked here. Help them get to land, which also makes a bridge for yourself. The boss awaits in the next area.
