By having Yoshi head toward Mario to be mounted as you grab an item, you can instead stall and then cancel the rest of the action while still having the "jump flag" set. This allows Jump Storage to be obtained a lot easier when items are around (and are able to be moved toward you in some way).

This should have a lot of uses, one example being this version of Conveyor Belt Skip in Any% categories that skips just as much as my previous video (background + plane panel) without the need for the Ultra Boots.
