So the finale. I'll just mention my experience from it. First, I did attempt a non exploit version, which after the boss did a laser attack from the head that outspeed me when I was pre running and killed me, made me not care so much about that. With the golem and the cutscenes in the way as well, yea, waste of 3 minutes to every boss fight, no thank you.

So my strat was to get rid of that awful attack first, I did do one more for the room if needed, but just went for the bottom once I felt comfortable with the middle opening. If everything works out properly, I can get up to 3 lasers and a pepper, mistake, only 2 and pepper. Buffed after taking out the bottom while it faded. Easy if everything goes right, even without powers.

Eve is interesting. If you get hit by a move that causes paralyze, you'll probably die, but the rest is easy to bait, she mostly just wastes your time. Inflicted her with poison, shot her with the laser. Buffed when I thought it was the right time, but you won't get a huge amount out of it with how much she moves. Maybe like 3-4 hits.

Deadliest thing I encountered was 2 things. If the game doesn't wish for it to occur, I had issues aiming at her and she set me on fire with her charge me. So just make sure you got a good targeting location. The orbs that follow you with status effects. Going up is easy, if you have to go down to get away, go towards the wall, turn and run back up, they'll miss. Just gotta smack her till she loses that 20 trillion hp she seems to have.

I really do want this game to be better, especially for the time I put into it, but it just really isn't. In a standard playthrough if you're aware of what you can do, you can get past most issues by just overpowering it, but once you gotta actually exist and time is needed to kill something, things can really get outta hand is a very unfair manner.

The camera is basically attempting to ride off the back of RE without the context of why and how. RE is setup for it and has slower enemy types, I don't think it has nearly as many either in RE, it's just a few. You can go into PE and it has like 5 in just a small hallway, one for the closeup door, barely away from it, the center, the path to the other exit, the closeup, it's just dumb. Then to top it off, enemies can block off the whole thing with their fat bodies, or you just can't see anything in general. Going in blind all the time that you gotta memorize every detail, sounds fun right? Otherwise time for some cheese!

Then on top of that, you get botched mechanics and broken hitboxes that make no sense. You'll be clearly visually away, then bam, you take half your hp. Horses slam into the preset backgrounds and just ride the wall, so that doesn't work well. Enemies can push other enemies around, so mechanics that lock them up and just pin them to you and let them attack anyway like the scorpions, I think a spider did it once too. Rabbits tend to be fine in normal, but if you give them an inch, they going for a mile of being a nuisance. I forget his name, but dryfield golem boss was probably the worst boss just because of his resistance to your guns outside your small amount of grenades and whatever flares you could hold.

I know they wouldn't, but this game would be awesome to remake though, pretty good ideas, just not the best execution. Like, even the concept of the replay is pretty flawed. The things they give you just aren't really that amazing to warrant another playthrough just for its sake, so it's like, difficulty, mess around, done. You can already dumpster everything pretty effectively before the difficulty changes, so having a awesome weapon from the getco is like, whatever. The places it'd be cool to have, you can't use them, like scavenger and Nightmare. You can get a preset item for like 23k for the gunblade in scavenger, but that's about it. It doesn't warrant like 14 playthroughs or whatever the reward list is. Should have copied that from RE, just like a couple rewards that are awesome for a good rating, not a bunch you'll never do.
