Line 7bis is the second shortest line on the Paris Métro network which currently consists of 16 lines in addition to four new lines under various stages of construction.
The line has eight stations and a total route length of 3.1 km.
Line 7bis was originally a branch of Line 7 but due to a large variation in passenger volumes, the Louis Blanc - Porte de la Villette branch continued to operate as part of Line 7 and the Louis Blanc to Pré-Saint-Gervais branch began operating as a separate line in 1967.

As for rolling stock, Line 7bis is the only line where MF 88 trainsets continue to operate.

Year opened: 1911
