The Toulouse Téléo aerial tramway with three stations, connects the eastern part of the city at Paul Sabatier University with the western part at IUCT Oncopole crossing the Garonne river. This modern, ecologically friendly (hardly any CO2 emissions), safe and noiseless aerial transit system was opened in 2022 and implemented at a cost of ~ € 90 m.
Each cabin can accomodate 32 passengers and the system can withstand wind speeds of up to 100 km/h or more.
