I'm considering using Patreon as a way of further funding content for this channel.
I'm not asking for your permission. I'm also not asking whether you would donate/subscribe/support, or unsubscribe from my channel and never watch again... these things are up to you.

What I'm looking for is people's experiences when using Patreon, what they have found effective, what they think could be good perks for higher tiers... basically, tell me things I may not have considered already.

Update: Following feedback from this video, I have decided on the Patreon format to go with, and it is... basic. One low cost tier. No fancy perks... just a thank you, and patrons names in the credits of videos for as long as they remain patrons. Nothing held back from non-patrons.
