Was this a bit TOO sentimental? I don't know what compelled me to do this. Maybe a part of me was hoping that, somehow, Emil would be at his home... waiting for me. But in reality, I wasn't really expecting anything.

That's why I was surprised to see that he... actually left a gift for me. It was so sad. That was the same chest I'd hacked into to steal his stuff, and he just... left it unlocked for me.

Did he know he was going to die? Was he planning to give it to me personally?

All I know is that... Emil is one character I will never forget. I don't know if I know of any characters who have been around longer for me, so actually witnessing his death... it was unreal. I wasn't prepared for it, to say goodbye.

But here, I hope I did it right this time. And now others know that, if they do Emil's Determination, there's a Powerup Part L waiting for them at his home.

Unless... it was there for the entirety of Route C...

I remember when I once said that Emil's shop theme gave me a feeling of hope. And now... I'll never hear it again (in this playthrough).

Farewell, Emil. You will always be the #1 cinnamon bun.
