I cleared out Owzer's Mansion and recruited Relm and Strago. I'm not quite ready to take on. Chadarnook is the final boss battle in the game that is going to take me an eternity to beat; it's immune to Joker Doom, which is why I didn't try to manipulate for it. I stop by the Old Man's cottage with Sabin but no Gau in my party to check out some missing dialogue concerning Locke's location--a place where the mountains form the shape of a star.

After that, I decided to pick out my World Tour team; since Locke and the yeti are the last remaining recruitments left in the game, I no longer need to hold back my levels. It's a little difficult to sort out why exactly what I encountered in each location, why and in the particular order. Just note that I've been manipulating my encounters the whole way so that I can have a simpler time encountering them on the Veldt.

And after a ton of hesitation in the past, I finally felt ready to teach Mog the Water Mondo dance in the fight against Leviathan--this is the only place to learn said dance in the World of Ruin in the GBA version--any other version won't count. Mog also had to be kept alive, which is why I decided to farm for Imp equipment; they grant protection against the Water element.

I take out the Ice Dragon and Valigarma (AKA, Tritoch), which means I only have five more elemental dragons, ten more Espers, and three more Dances to go. But we're still not quite ready to take on the Yeti's cave to recruit said Yeti. I grab a Slagworm formation for the Veldt, and then defeat Gigantuar for yet another bonus Esper added to the GBA version--that being Cactuar for +2 Speed. And that's basically it.
