Was sick the whole previous week. Didn't even have the energy to get out of bed last Tuesday to do much of anything, which was why I didn't upload anything.

Since I've gotten a Perfect Playthrough, I decided to show off a few things. First up, two extra Blue Sphere Special Stages you can only play in by changing the Sound Test feature to number 07, then select either Special Stage 1 for a Chaos Emerald, or Stage 2 for a Super Emerald. You hold down A, and then press start. The eighth Chaos Emerald in particular is the most difficult Special Stage in the game by far. The only upside to it is that there weren't any Rings, so I only needed to get the Blue Spheres. The reason it took me 59 tries is because it was easy to miss a turn, and I would often jump over a blue sphere, which in turn would screw me over. Thought about only showing off the successful attempt, but I wanted to show off just how brutally difficult the first seven minutes of this episode really was.

In stark contrast, the eighth Super Emerald was really easy to get. The only difficult thing about it is figuring out the trick. But once you got that right, it's surprisingly easier than most of the Super Emeralds in the base game. Both of these secret emeralds are Gold, by the way.

The rest of the episode was dedicated to showing off some of the weird anomalies, such as playing through Death Egg Zone as Knuckles--even had to show off the necessity of Debug mode because it's impossible for him to reach the Act 1 boss. And just for shits and giggles, I even played through Doomsday Zone as both Knuckles and Tails. Again, Debug Mode is mandatory to properly complete these stages, because the game will softlock otherwise. And all sorts of weird shit occurs; Knuckles becomes a light-blue color before reverting to being Blue Knuckles, while Sonic retains his light blue Sonic.EXE look; and though nothing quite as bad happened with Tails, his ring count never went down during Doomsday Zone, so that's something.

I then went on to show off the other Knuckles endings before showing off strats on how to face bosses legitimately that Knuckles was never supposed to fight. I had to revert to Debug Mode yet again for Launch Base Act 2, because try as I might, I could not get Knuckles into Sonic & Tails' portion of the level at the end. Pretty much the only thing I didn't do was take on Sky Sanctuary Act 2 as Sonic or Tails, or take on the Lava Reef Act 2 boss as Knuckles. I'm curious as to see what would happen if I were to do so.

I closed off by doing a single player Grand Prix as Sonic, to show off the multi-player stages. Nothing too fancy, though when I did the Start and A trick to reset the game, there were quite a few noticeable graphical bugs. But the game worked as normal.
