this boss is actually pretty dang involved but I gotta be honest actually getting here in the expedition was rough. Sure it's only one area and then the boss fight but on the way I got attacked by a phantom ship and a boss fight with Bar Lodos. No special battle arena he just travels through the area by going underwater and just causes you hell.
ANYWAYS this boss is actually really neat for the most part the caster hangs back to use attacks from a distance but will sometimes perform some melee or swing around spiderman style (by grabbing onto air?)
The beast starts out the fight fairly passive but all of his attacks end up with him spewing out some slime (or blood) and will start to make hazard zones in the arena as well as cover his body making him more agitated and dangerous until he's covered so much he just freaks the hell out and goes on a murderous rampage for a short period of time (reminds me of mary skelter actually) during this charge the caster can actually attach himself to the beast making the charge even more dangerous as now spells will start flying as a crazed monster runs around the area... however that also means only one target to keep track of.
Overall a really fun boss to cap off an episode that really kicked the story into high gear.
