Pikang's 9th End Year Gaming Time: F-Zero X Part 1 (Uncut)
Note: Using a special cart like SummerCart 64 allows you to easily put the base game with the Expansion Kit that was Japan only for the ill fated Disk Drive, this was also uncut, showing me messing around a bit with the game, getting a bit used to it before taking things really seriously... but man, it's REEAAALLYY hard, and that's on Normal (Standard) difficulty, gameplay recorded with an Elgato HDX and a GBC-Control using a N64 with S-Video output.
Sakura Sage: Mmmmm... man, things have been boring on Halpha, nothing really interesting aside of a peculiar Urgent Quest with a mechanic that my friend had seen in the past, speaking of... I wonder what he's doing?
Pikangs_Futaba: (Booting up the Summercart 64 with the F-Zero X Expansion Kit enabled) Ok... I HAVE to give F-Zero X a try, that game is famous for what it did on the N64, not to mention that I have to embrace it's difficulty in the same manner as how I did it years ago with F-Zero and F-Zero GX.
Sakura Sage: F-Zero huh... wait, oh my, that racing game series is not for the weak of heart, seriously, F-Zero X is infamous due to it's difficulty, but at the same time really nuts to see a game on the N64 run at 60fps all the time AND having really good soundtrack like if it was a CD based game like on Ps1, very precise controls, yeah, you have a winning recipie here... shame that Nintendo doesn't take enough attention to this series (aside of the Switch Online stuff like F-Zero 99 rescuing the Satellaview courses and machines for SNES F-Zero... still missing like 3 courses I think).
Pikangs_Futaba: Indeed, a hardcore but really good game, do yourself a favor and give it a try, one thing I can't wait to pull off (without using the unlock all cheat code) is to reach the 4th Cup, as in Expansion Kit one particular course has a great surprise that makes us question why they didn't include that in the base game.
Sakura Sage: Well, you can bet that this game will get more parts in the future, for now, it's just the "farewell 2024" video (and uncut with all the fails and stuff), I hope you had fun watching the stuff in 2024, and let's to our best in 2025, see you next year!!!
