Pikangs_Futaba: You know this isn't Simon's Quest, nor the 1st Castlevania Collection... right?

Sakura Sage: Yup, I just wanted to say that.

Pikangs_Futaba: Suuuuure.... anyway, Castlevania Dominus Collection is the most recent one, is a follow up to the Anniversary and Advance Collections, Dominus Collection main focus are the Nintendo DS "Trilogy"...

Sakura Sage: And may I ask why there's an arcade game in said Collection? It doesn't fit the theme at all.

Pikangs_Futaba: Well, the previous 2 collections also had a game that is considered the "misfit", in the 1st one was Kid Dracula for the Famicom, in the Advance Collection the SNES rendition of Rondo of Blood that is known as Dracula X (or Vampire Kiss in Europe), in the Dominus Collection, the misfit honor is for the infamous arcade game... Haunted Castle, but probably you could see the collection menu that it has ANOTHER Haunted Castle... well, that's for part 2 of the collection, this one focuses on the original Arcade game... which was also featured in the Konami Arcade Anniversary Collection.

Sakura Sage: Yeah... and after watching how things go in this one (and the fact that you give the Uncut label just for other people watching to see the pain and strives to pull off a single loop full run, to the point that you said "screw it, time to cheese the game in a way the original Arcade release didn't allow it") I understand why Haunted Castle is hated... aside of it's OST which is great of course, not to mention that a few of them are reused in other Castlevania games like the final stage theme which was part of Julius Belmont's theme in Aria of Sorrow, or the stage 1 theme that is used in the later portions of Portrait of Ruin.

Pikangs_Futaba: Well, we said more than enough for now, enjoy the start of the Dominus ride, and before you ask, yes, the DS games I'm going to cover them based on their story order, meaning that Order of Ecclesia is 1st and Dawn of Sorrow is the 3rd, but probably I'll cover the other games I don't have introduced yet before I end with the entire collection... only time will tell us about that, anyway, have a Rappy day.
