Uses a similar game mechanic as PixelRipped 1989 in that you are playing a video game in class without getting spotted by your teacher.
Multitasking is the aim of the game, you have smuggled your mobile phone into class and whenever your teacher is looking away you continue playing, the mobile game is a bit like an endless frogger game where you avoid the oncoming obstacles approaching from the top of the screen. There is a bar that ticks down all the time you are not playing the game and the teacher is watching, get to zero and the game ends, get caught playing the game and the game ends, your fellow pupils can also get you in trouble and it is up to you to hit them when they are being distracting. Timing everything right adds time to the bar and helps to give you the time required to reach the required score for each stage.
Control is simple, look at the mobile and use the touchpad to move the pig type character left or right to avoid hitting an obstacle, look up when you hear the prompt that the teacher is about to look at the pupils, use the controller to aim and fire or your fellow pupils.
Everything looks simple, nicely animated in a Nintendo character style that suits the game perfectly.
There is something addictive about Pitpat Plan that keeps you playing, the levels become difficult after the first initial one, with less time to spot which of your fellow pupils is the troublemaker and there appears to be no rewards for completing levels other than joy of moving on to the next. The class rooms look similar, you only move seats in each class and more disruptive pupils appear in each stage.
This is a fun title that will keep you entertained in short bursts, if you like PixelRipped you will understand what this game is attempting to achieve.
