If you enjoyed the last gen shooters such as Geometry Wars or Super Stardust then you are going to find Vektron Revenge just as addictive.
The game is closer to the former in that you are followed around the screen by a number of geometric enemies, each of which have different styles, from the pyramids that follow you, the cubes which scroll around you to the star types which randomly burst around the screen, when facing one type of enemy it is fairly easy to avoid, but combine all three, you will find yourself roaming around the levels to avoid them rather than chase after them.
Control is through head tracking and is really responsive, so you know if you die it is because of your error, the firing is automatic and multi directional, meaning you will be able to take out enemies all around you. The levels are 360 degrees around you and range from an open screen to mechanical mazes to navigate which almost fill the screen and require you to avoid hitting anything that is red, as well as avoiding and shooting the enemies.
This is a very clever shooter that is colourful, with addictive gameplay that is great to come back and play in short bursts.
if you love retro shooters this will be right up your alley.
