Obsidian's recently announced Infinity Engine-ish retro RPG inspired me to reinstall Planescape Torment, which I haven't played through in many years. I began a new playthrough when the GOG version was released but somehow lost my save files so I had to start over again; this time with a more complete mod setup.

While the dreary Mortuary area seems awfully dull at first glance, there's an incredible amount of stuff to do (or at least an insane amount of text to read) even within the game's starting area, and careless players might easily miss most of it by not exploring the place thoroughly enough. Even seemingly generic zombie workers and skeletons have unique dialogue options (or at least *interactions* of some form) associated with them and there's plenty of lore, items and XP to be gained from immersing yourself fully in the twisted logic of the Dustmen.
