As video game collectors it seems like we buy the games faster than we actually play them. This leads to a massive backlog that can feel overwhelming to start tackling.

To best approach this I decided to take 9 games from a wide variety of systems, series, and genres and focus on trying to play as many of them as I can this year.

Often times I get to caught up in playing the entire series, but a more diverse approach like this might make it more sustainable.
