The #GameCube continues to maintain mainstream popularity even 20 years after launch. Kinda funny considering the console sold poorly compared to the PS2 and Xbox back in the early 2000s.

Despite the GameCube’s faults it seems to be the console that has held up the best years later. Particularly now when there isn’t a lot to go out and do having friends come over in person to play GameCube sounds very appealing.

With the lack of 4 player local play on modern consoles, and even on the PS2, I think the Wii and GameCube have solidified themselves as the greatest party consoles of all time.
