Throughout January, and into February of 2021 the PS2 console and games saw an unexpected rise in price. This is particularly the case with the PS2 fat model.

Why? We could simply say it's nostalgia. Maybe it's because the fat model is slightly better for piracy? It's a tough thing to explain and there are probably a lot of factors at play here.
