A completely new sequel to the SNES game "Pocky & Rocky" !

Brainwashed or not, we are all well aware of the chaos that the Nopino Goblins can cause, and the Japanese spirits have now brought their madness all the way to Xbox! Releasing on December 7th, Pocky & Rocky Reshrined will finally be available on the Microsoft console as well, you can enjoy the trailer here.

If you don’t know them already, this expanded remake of the original 1992/1993 Super Nintendo Entertainment System game Pocky & Rocky by NatsumeAtari, TENGO PROJECT and TAITO will see you play as either the young Shinto shrine maiden, Pocky, or her trusted tanuki companion, Rocky, as they fight against monsters from Japanese mythology. After discovering that the Nopinos were actually under the spell of Black Mantle, Pocky and Rocky go on to confront the source of the whole conflict. So far so good, you will say.. but after being defeated at the end of Pocky & Rocky, Black Mantle travels back in time to get revenge, and this time you’ll need the help of many more friends to overcome the challenges!

In fact, using her soul, Pocky can possess her new friends and gain access to their abilities. Along the way, Pocky meets the goddess Ame-no-Uzume, a demon warrior by the name of Hotaru, and a thunder-commanding youkai known as Ikazuchi. These new characters offer different approaches compared to Pocky and Rocky and their arsenals are nearly powerful enough to make the veteran heroes feel outdated.

Please Note: Like in the Switch and PlayStation releases you need to finish the story mode solo to unlock the co-op Free Mode to play two players. Also, you need to earn 3,000 coins in the game in total to unlock easy mode.

Why am I called Dad's Backlog?

Well the TLDR version is I've been playing video games since the Atari and Vic 20 days and over the years I've started many games and in most cases never finished them so I've made quite of collection of games I always wanted to finish but never found time to do it.

So I created this channel so my son and daughter can hopefully someday find this and watch Dad play through a lot of games he loved and maybe you all can share some of your memories of them too.
