A glitch found by me but if it wasn't for Spoink's corruption in Ruby and his previous research on corruption Decamarks, it wouldn't occur to me to look for Emerald corruption Decamarks and a way to activate the effects of their long names. http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php/topic,7125.0.html

If you get certain ?????????? ("Decamarks") with extremely long 'real names' through "Glitzer Popping" (sadly this may take many times, I only did it on my first try because I rewinded the video each time. See line 19 of the more detailed description for an idea of how to replicate this every time), then you can use the reporter at the Pokémon Fan Club to say their names. If the name is not too short, but not too long (as to avoid messing up your overworld location), then corruption will occur and you can avoid a freeze!

Some Decamarks have the wonderful effect of making your player turn into a random character after you leave the Fan Club. Though this glitch basically renders the game unplayable if you save, you can save after hatching a Decamark Egg but before causing the corruption, and get characters who may be different each time you reset and talk to the TV reporter lady.

Additionally, there are Decamarks that appear to set your character to a constant character. By "character", I mean the sprite-set for the hero, because the walking sprites and Bicycle sprites may be completely different.

Some of the things you can do with this glitch are having a character run on Cycling Road, partially playing as a corrupted version of the sumo from Mendel Palace, playing as Red and Kyogre/Lugia, diving on land, riding a Bicycle indoors, having a Pokémon Center nurse try to heal many Pokémon, and "constantly being attacked by birds" after using Fly.
