Sashimi! and Briney landed on Slateport beach an extension of Route 109. It's been three days since he's left home and all this travel started to wear him down. He decided to take a seat and relax on the warm beach. Not ten minutes went by before little kids and sailors challenged him to sudden battles. Annoyed by the chaos of the beach Sashimi! headed into Slateport city. He had a package to deliver to Captain Stern from the president of Devon, but before delivering it he wanted to see what the city had to offer. A red tent stood in a quiet corner of the city. It was a battle tent as the clerk said it was "a place to test your battling skills with rental Pokemon." By the piers was an open market noisy with customers and merchants. Then Sashimi! came upon the Aquatic Museum and its numerous waiting customers Team Aqua. They lined up in front of the building clogging the streets for the regular citizens. Sashimi!, suspicious of their intentions, sleuth-ed his way to the front of the line. None of the Aquas noticed him as he slipped into the Museum with them. Sashimi! headed upstairs where less of the Aquas gathered. Looking at a submarine model on a table was a man dressed in a white lab coat. He didn't look like an Aqua member. Sashimi! started a conversation with him. He learned the man was Captain Stern. Sashimi! proceeded to give Captain Stern the package from the Devon President. Then Aqua grunt busted into the upstairs exhibit. One of them noticed the exchange and threatened them. Sashimi! battle and won against the grunts. The grunts started toward the exit when a man looking like a blue garbed pirate sauntered up the stairs. The grunts moved out of his way as he came up to Sashimi!. The man called himself Archie and proclaimed himself the leader of Team Aqua. He left but not before letting Sashimi! know just how easily the leader of Aqua can crush him. Sashimi! delivered the product and left for Route 110 dejected.
