Pokémon GO - What Niantic Did RIGHT (and Wrong) With the Clamperl Research Event
46To say that the Clamperl Limited Research Event was a resounding success would be the understatement of the century, and I'm not speaking in hyperbole. Following a very rough Feebas Limited Research Event, Niantic bounced back in a monstrously big way with Clamperl.
Yes, it wasn't a perfect Event, and I will address some of the areas where they can improve for future iterations, but this was the culmination of a great culture at Niantic and a great attitude that they have towards the game and the community of players. This Event gave us so many reasons to appreciate Niantic and their approach to the game. No matter what gripes you might have with Pokemon GO, you absolutely cannot deny that this Event was a huge step in a good direction for this game. We have to give credit where credit is due.
