2This battle with Blue could be hard because Charmeleon was low on HP. Quick Attack from Pidgeotto needed to be avoided because Wartortle would KO Charmeleon with Water Gun afterwards. Wartortle could survive two Mega Punches and if it used Withdraw, I countered with Flamethrower. The rest of Blue's team were simple OHKO's and Charmeleon evolved.
In the Pokémon Tower itself, it was easy to dodge all trainers here. Three were required, but their Ghost Pokémon are easily defeated with Wing Attack. I picked up a Rare Candy and defeated the ghostly Marowak. All the Rocket Grunts were required and they were no challenge at all. The only thing that could go wrong, was Rock Slide missing on Golbat. I recieved the Poké Flute and woke Snorlax up. I ran from it and stopped before the group of Bikers.
