Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky Playthrough 75: Mew and the Grass Cornet
The next one of the seven treasures we go for is the Grass Cornet, located in Mystery Jungle. The Grass Cornet is guarded by a very rare Pokémon called Mew, who is believed to be the ancestor of all Pokémon. Mystery Jungle has 30 floors, and it shouldn't be too challenging compared to the other dungeons.
As the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description.
Mystery Jungle has similar encounters to Mystifying Forest, the Pokémon encountered there are Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Metapod, Rattata, Raticate, Spearow, Nidoran Female, Nidoran Male, Vileplume, Venonat, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Exeggcute, Koffing, Scyther, Eevee, Snorlax, Chikorita, Bayleef, Meganium, Aipom, Sunkern, Sunflora, Teddiursa, Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Roselia, Gulpin, Flygon, Turtwig, Grotle, Torterra, Bidoof, Roserade, Lopunny, Stunky, Skuntank and Munchlax. That is a lot of different Pokémon that can be found in this dungeon, and this is the only dungeon where the Treecko line can be encountered and recruited, this was likely because Grovyle was an important character in the story, which might explain why the Treecko line weren't encountered in Mystifying Forest, while all the other Grass type starters were.
The guardian of the Grass Cornet, Mew isn't too difficult, I personally think Mew is the easiest out of the guardians of the seven treasures. Mew is Level 46, and its possible moves are Mega Punch, Metronome, Psychic and Barrier. For level up moves, Mew can learn AncientPower, Me First, Nasty Plot and Aura Sphere. Mew can learn every TM in the game, making it one of the most versatile Pokémon in the game, so if you want to enter a dungeon filled with Grass type Pokémon, giving Mew moves like Flamethrower and Silver Wind can be helpful.
Mew's Exclusive Item, the Life Ring can be obtained on Zero Isle West on the 17th floor, and it protects Mew from status conditions. This does make Mew's Synchronize useless, because if Mew is inflicted with a status condition, the Pokémon that inflicted it will have the same status condition as well.
The Grass Cornet is one of the seven treasures, guarded by Mew. It is said to increase the chances of recruiting Grass type Pokémon, despite Mew being a Psychic type Pokémon.
