I started to use red bar strategies in this segment and Kadabra needed to cooperate with Psybeam or Psychic. I used a X-Speed and a X-Accuracy and Alakazam also could not KO Blastoise. I used Dig to exit the gym and I flew back to Pallet Town, almost making a miss click. I discarded my last X-Attack and I used Surf to get to Cinnabar Island. I picked up the TM Blizzard in the Pokémon Mansion and I taught it to Blastoise. I also picked up two Rare Candies and the Secret Key and I solved the quiz in the gym.

Saved at 1:38 with a L43 Blastoise.
