Using a glitch to get 128 rare candies, I bring Magikarp's level up to 100. This is the max level. Even before reaching level 100, I am unable to use HP up or vitamins to increase the stats of Magikarp. There are 6 PP Ups within Pokemon Red. I have currently found 2 of them. I found one in the Power Plant and another somewhere else. In Part 5, the next episode, I will defeat Sabrina, and then hunt down the remaining PP Ups so I can increase the usage of Tackle and Dragon Rage. I will also make sure to search for all Ether, as I will need them for the Elite Four and the Champion. I needed rare candies, because even when Magikarp was level 70, it was struggling against my Rival. Even at level 100, I''m not certain I can win using only Tackle and Dragon Rage. I might need to get rid of all usages of Splash, so I can use Struggle. Struggle has stronger Attack compared to Tackle.
