This one is the more advanced out of the classes in Earl's Pokémon Academy, it is the Elite Four Class. The lessons there teach you about multiplied damage through type match-ups, support moves, combo moves, reading the situation when switching, hold items, and notes on Eggs. Then we take the Wisdom Test, and after that is the Skill Test, and the four Trainers are more harder than the previous classes, I will list their Pokémon and you have to pick the ones that are best at countering their strategy.
Battle 1: Cooltrainer♂ Connor
Gyarados: Hyper Beam
Remoraid: Hyper Beam
Muk: Hyper Beam
Seadra: Hyper Beam
Kingler: Hyper Beam
Magcargo: Hyper Beam

Strategy: You have a Pikachu with a Light Ball, this doubles Pikachu's Special Attack stat when held, and the Thick Club doubles Cubone's Attack. Your opponent leads with Gyarados, which Pikachu's Thunderbolt can take out, Shuckle can switch in to take the Hyper Beam, and Cubone can be used to take out Magcargo with Earthquake.

Battle 2: Cooltrainer♀ Becky
Machamp: Meditate, Hyper Beam
Electabuzz: Meditate, Hyper Beam
Scizor: Swords Dance, Hyper Beam
Bellossom: Swords Dance, Hyper Beam
Primeape: Meditate, Hyper Beam
Pinsir: Swords Dance, Hyper Beam

Strategy: Your opponent will boost her Pokémon's Attack stat on the first turn, then deal heavy damage with Hyper Beam, you have to pick the Pokémon that know Endure and Reversal, and have a move that affects Speed, the ones you have to pick are Scyther, Raichu, and Raticate. Scyther and Raichu know Agility, while Raticate can lower the opponent's Speed with Icy Wind.

Battle 3: Juggler Ferris
Dragonite: Wing Attack
Arcanine: Flamethrower, ExtremeSpeed
Flareon: Flamethrower, Quick Attack
Magmar: Flamethrower, Fire Punch
Typhlosion: Flamethrower, Fire Punch
Tyranitar: Rock Slide, Surf

Strategy: This one puts combos to use, your opponent will use Dragonite, Tyranitar, and a Fire-type Pokémon, you have to pick Steelix, Poliwrath, and Golem for this fight. Steelix can use the creeper combo, that is use Toxic, Bind, and Rage to take out Dragonite. Poliwrath has Mind Reader and DynamicPunch to deal with Tyranitar, Mind Reader will ensure that Poliwrath's next attack will always hit, and Golem has Defense Curl and Rollout to handle the Fire-type Pokémon, Rollout's power is doubled when Defense Curl is used.

Battle 4: Swimmer♀ Julian
Starmie: Minimize, Rain Dance, Thunder
Slowbro: Surf
Kingdra: Twister, Surf
Golduck: Surf
Octillery: Surf
Staryu: Minimize, Rain Dance, Thunder

Strategy: Your opponent uses Water-type Pokémon and likes to set up the rain, you have to pick Pokémon that use the sun their advantage, the choice is Exeggutor, Jumpluff, and Houndoom, they know Sunny Day, Exeggutor can use Stomp, which doubles in power when Starmie uses Minimize, and Synthesis can fully restore Exeggutor's HP when the sun is out. Starmie's Thunder will always hit when the rain is up, but it will have 50% accuracy when the sun is up. Jumpluff and Houndoom know SolarBeam to take on the Water-type Pokémon, Water-type moves will be weakened when the sun is up, and despite Houndoom being weak to Water-type moves, it can deal a lot of damage with SolarBeam.
