This will be the last Pokémon Stadium Free Battle video, because after this video, Free Battle will take place on Pokémon Stadium 2. I originally had planned to record up to Free Battle 100, and Free Battles 81 to 90 were recorded before the Pokémon Presents, which announced that Pokémon Stadium 2 is to come out following the Pokémon Presents, at least we can move on to new mechanics, because Generation 1 had some really strange cases, like Special being one stat, moves like Fire Spin and Wrap working differently, and many others.
Voltorb ended up being the lead, while I had Nidoqueen out, I wasn't sure whether or not to switch out for someone else, but decided to keep Nidoqueen in there, as I might need it for Jolteon when it comes out.
I do make use of type advantages in this battle, for example, Weepinbell to fight against Poliwrath, as it resists all of Poliwrath's moves, and I don't need Weepinbell for anything else, aside from using Toxic to inflict poison onto Wigglytuff. I have Slowpoke to inflict paralysis on Abra with Thunder Wave to make defeating it easier, as Abra does have really high Special, but it is more about getting a Pokémon in there to take it down, because Abra is not an easy Pokémon to deal with if it has Psychic and Thunder Wave, and while it has really low Defense, once it is paralyzed, it is easier to defeat. Not much to go over with Kakuna when I have three Fire-type Pokémon on the team to fight against it.
