It is time for some sightseeing with Kubfu, and there are four different places we have to check out. One of which is in Potbottom Desert, another is in Brawlers' Cave, and the other is at Challenge Road. Some of which are places we have yet to explore, and there are some Pokémon that we can capture there.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I could not believe my luck finding that Shiny Chansey, but at least you get to see me encounter a Shiny Pokémon in a video playthrough, this is the first recorded playthrough I have ever encountered a random Shiny Pokémon. Whenever someone encounters a Shiny Pokémon, they always put them as a clickbait thumbnail, I feel it takes away the surprise.
The first area is Potbottom Desert, and time to go over encounters, first up is Sandile, I recommend Moxie, because that will boost Sandile's Attack if it KOs an opponent. Its evolved forms Krokorok and Krookodile can be found in the overworld in different weather, so I would recommend using one.
You can find Shinx in rainy weather, while I did go over Luxio and Luxray in previous parts, you can also find Shinx at Challenge Road as well.
If you don't have a way to trade, you can find a Rhyperior in the desert, if you can capture that thing, it can make a great team member, it is a very solid Pokémon defensively, despite being weak to common types.
Marowak can be encountered as well, while I did go over Cubone a few parts ago, here is where you can find Marowak.
The intense sun weather has a lot of encounters, but the one that stands out is Volcarona, if you don't feel like training up a Larvesta back then, here is where you can encounter Volcarona, it is a powerful Bug/Fire-type Special attacker and a great user of Quiver Dance.
Then for Brawlers' Cave, and you can find Poliwag there, as well as the fully evolved Poliwrath, a solid Water/Fighting-type with good Attack, but otherwise you can evolve Poliwhirl with a Water Stone, or trade it with a King's Rock to get Politoed. They are otherwise good options to consider for a Water-type.
Next is Whismur and its evolved form Loudred. It evolves into Exploud, a Normal-type with good attacking stats and learns a wide variety of moves, like Crunch and Boomburst. It's a decent option, but it is overshadowed by better Normal-types.
Azurill can be found in Brawlers' Cave, but I did already go over Marill many parts ago, but here is where you can catch Azurill.
The next area is Challenge Road, and starting the encounters is Mienfoo, a Fighting-type Pokémon with good Attack and Speed, and you can find its evolved form Mienshao as an overworld encounter. Mienshao is one of my favourite Pokémon from Gen 5, and in my top 10 Fighting-types, I just like the design of that Pokémon. It does get some good Physical moves, like Close Combat, Poison Jab, Acrobatics, and a few other moves, so it's a good Fighting-type to use.
This area is an easier way to get Skarmory, while it was previously available back at Training Lowlands, it can serve as a good defensive Pokémon if you can get one here.
You can find Rockruff's evolved form Lycanroc in the overworld, Midday Form is in normal weather, and Midnight Form is in overcast, you can also find Pawniard and its evolved form Bisharp in overcast weather.
For intense sun, you can find Salazzle as an overworld encounter, and you can also find its pre-evolved form Salandit in the wild. The good thing about getting Salazzle in the overworld is so you don't have to go out of your way to find a female Salandit, because Salandit has a 1/8 chance of being female, so catching the evolved form Salazzle is better.
For sandstorm, you can find Scizor as an overworld encounter, I might have gone over Scizor back when Scyther was first available, but it's there if you don't have a way to trade and you want to complete your Pokédex, but other than that, Scizor is a great Pokémon, if you can get one with Technician, it is a great user of Bullet Punch, but you unfortunately cannot teach it Bug Bite in this game.
Only in fog, you can find Blissey as a 2% encounter, and Gallade in the overworld, I find it great that some of my favourite Pokémon can be found in the overworld, like Mienshao, Lycanroc, Bisharp, Gallade, and a few others. While Blissey isn't up there in my favourites, they give even more experience than Chansey when defeated in battle, but it could be good to catch one of them if you don't want to go out of your way to evolve Chansey, a good trick is to have a Pokémon with a high Attack stat take down those Chansey or Blissey, and have up to five Pokémon you want to level up, and if you have one of them hold a Lucky Egg, that can help, and I think that 5% of the time, wild Blissey can hold the Lucky Egg, so if you manage to do so, you are the luckiest person in the world, because Blissey only appears in one weather condition.
