I used: Araquanid, Nihilego, and Tangrowth
My Opponent used: Noivern, Zacian, and Eternatus
Stadium: Turrfield
Battle BGM: Champion

There isn't much to go over with my opponent's team, and I did see that my opponent had three Steel-type Pokémon on the team, and the only one that was used was Zacian. While it was good to see my opponent using Noivern, it wasn't a competitively trained team, but at least I get to test out Araquanid in this battle.
I have used Araquanid before in my online battles, he now has a Red Card, which is an item that I don't tend to use that often, and while it does force the opponent to switch out a Pokémon at random, I just learned that the Red Card only activates if the Pokémon does not faint to a move, because I had one battle where I got swept by a Cloyster, and the Red Card didn't even activate, which led me to believe that the item only activates if the Pokémon is hit by a move, but does not faint.
I was surprised about the turn 1 Dynamax from my opponent, because I never Dynamax on the first turn in battle, because while the boosts are a huge advantage, that does put your team at a huge disadvantage, because if your opponent hasn't Dynamaxed yet, they will take advantage of that, but when I saw my opponent's final two Pokémon were Zacian and Eternatus, who cannot Dynamax in battle, Noivern was the only Pokémon selected for battle that can Dynamax, so I guess my opponent wanted to make that count.
Back to Araquanid, his main use is to set up Sticky Web, I gave him Mirror Coat to send back Special Attacks for double damage against my opponent. I decided to test out Nihilego on a Single Battle team, it has a Power Herb so that it can fire off Meteor Beam without the need to charge, that was a huge upgrade to Rock-type Special Attackers, and Nihilego being one of them, it does also have Power Gem as a reliable Rock-type Special move, as Meteor Beam does require one turn to charge, and then fire off the next turn, but the Special Attack boost from Meteor Beam, and also from Beast Boost if Nihilego takes out a Pokémon with that move. I have Psyshock on Nihilego for type coverage against Poison-type opponents, and so that I have a way to deal damage to opponents with a higher Special Defense stat.
