I used: Lilligant, Skarmory, and Lycanroc (Dusk Form)
My Opponent used: Mienshao, Heat Rotom, and Gyarados
Stadium: Ballonlea
Battle BGM: Champion

While this was a long battle, I did like having the Champion theme playing to this one. I feel this match was all about switching out to my advantage, like having Skarmory to take Mienshao's moves, and I picked Lycanroc as an option for Rotom.
I did consider the Expert Belt or Life Orb for Lycanroc at first, but decided on the Focus Sash, as she is not the most defensive Pokémon out there, Lycanroc is more about using Speed to her advantage and getting in some hard hits with moves like Stone Edge and Close Combat, while Accelerock is there for priority.
It was good to see my opponent using Mienshao, as it is one of my favourite Pokémon from Gen 5, and I wasn't sure if my opponent's Mienshao had a Choice Scarf, as he was very fast. This is the first fight I test out Lilligant, this is a Pokémon that I have trained competitively throughout the generations, and my signature set for whenever I use Lilligant is the Quiver Dance set, which is usually the most common set on Lilligant if ever one is used. She has Own Tempo for her Ability to prevent confusion from Petal Dance, and Sleep Powder is there for putting targets to sleep, even if the Accuracy is a downside. Lilligant's movepool is very limited, the best I could go for coverage is Pollen Puff, and I have checked what moves are used by Lilligant in online battles, and one of which was Hyper Beam, although it could be good for Max Strike. In previous games where I have trained up a Lilligant for online battles, I had Giga Drain, which served more as a healing option, because the downside with Petal Dance is being locked to the move, and there are a lot of types that resist Grass, so that does make Lilligant hard to use in battle.
