We set off to Remire Village along with Jeralt and the rest of the class to find some villagers have gone out of control, and the parts of the village is set in flames. We also come to a shocking reveal as the one controlling the forces is a familiar person back at the Monastery, but not as we expected.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

It is time to start the battle at chapter 8, and we get a different map theme, this song is Tearing Through Heaven, and it is a really good theme. I decided to give Manuela a try for this Playthrough, while she might not be the best Priest in the game, she is one of few units that can learn Warp, and that is a really good Faith spell.
I recommend equipping your Flying unit some Chest Keys, as there are some chests on this map, as there are a lot of obstacles, like fire which can damage units, and you have to rescue 6 villagers, because you will get a reward depending on how many were saved. Defeating some of the Rampaging Villagers will rescue some of the NPCs on this map.
Jeralt will be fighting alongside you on this map, and you have to keep him alive to complete this chapter, he is a Paladin, so he has extra movement, and his Personal Ability is Blade Breaker, which reduces his foes' Strength and Defense after a successful hit, and he should be able to handle the Rampaging Villagers without much difficulty. You will notice Tomas, but something suspicious is up with him. It turns out that later in the fight, he will reveal himself to be Solon, he is a Dark Bishop, and he is your main opponent for this map, he has a Circe Staff, which is a magic staff wielded by Solon, and for Abilities, he has Agarthan Technology, where foes adjacent to Solon take 3 less damage in combat, Fiendish Blow boosts his high Magic stat by 6 in combat, Lifetaker restores his HP by 50% of the damage dealt by the user, and for stats, Solon's best stats are Magic and Resistance, and he has some very powerful dark spells, Banshee Θ, which inflicts -5 movement debuff to the target, Miasma Δ is a spell commonly used by Dark Mages, and Death Γ, which has a high critical hit rate, even if the Γ is meant to be the uppercase Gamma symbol, it reminds me of Waluigi's upside-down L. He also has Unsealable Magic, so he cannot be silenced.
For chests, the northern one has a Giant Shell, which boosts Defense by 2, and another has a Horseslayer, which inflicts bonus damage to Cavalry units, and guess who shows up for round 3, it is the Death Knight. Once again, the Death Knight is a fearsome opponent, and if you are playing on Hard, he does move, the Horseslayer that you picked up, combined with Knightkneeler should get in some heavy damage to the Death Knight, and if you can defeat him, you will earn a Dark Seal. There will be a bunch of Cavaliers that appear along with the Death Knight, and defeating them will give you some Crescent Sickles, which is a more powerful Steel Lance with better resilience.
When Solon reveals himself, Jeralt will go to fight him, and because he is an NPC, he cannot finish off Solon, so it will be up to your units to land the finishing blow.
Based on how many villagers were saved, if all of them, you will get an Extra Large Bullion, if at least one survived, you get a Large Bullion, and if you saved up to 3, you get an Advanced Seal.
After this map is completed, Dimitri tells Byleth about how he had witnessed a darker side of him when we saw Remire Village in chaos, and he tells Byleth about the Tragedy of Duscur, which had killed several people, including King Lambert, Dimitri's father, and then he talks with Seteth and Rhea about the shocking truth about Tomas, and about how Jeritza was from Imperial nobility, and as he is believed to be the true identity of the Death Knight, we will need to prepare if we want to stop Solon and the Death Knight.
