This week, I will be Surprise Trading Woobat, a Psychic/Flying-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation 5. As usual, I will be breeding for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and these Woobat have a Timid Nature, as its best stat is Speed, and it prefers Special Attacks, and I went with the Hidden Ability of Simple, as both Klutz and Unaware are not the best Abilities to go with.
The Egg Moves I went with on them were Roost, Psycho Shift, Flatter, and Knock Off, it does get Supersonic as well, but I found that the other four moves were more preferable on Woobat, I will list which parents in the Field and Flying Egg Groups that can learn those moves.
Flatter: Nidoran♂, Nidorino, Nidoking, Buneary, Lopunny, Morpeko
Knock Off: Farfetch'd, G-Farfetch'd, Absol, Zorua, Zoroark, Grookey, Thwackey, Rillaboom, Sirfetch'd
Psycho Shift: Hoothoot, Noctowl, Natu, Xatu
Roost: Hoothoot, Noctowl, Dunsparce, Wingull, Pelipper, Pidove, Tranquill, Unfezant, Fletchling, Fletchinder, Talonflame, Hawlucha, Noibat, Noivern
Supersonic: Zubat, Golbat, Aerodactyl, Crobat, Wingull, Pelipper, Whismur, Loudred, Exploud, Noibat, Noivern

While they are a good selection of Egg Moves, out of these, I would say that Roost and Knock Off are the ones worth going for.
As for Woobat, this Pokémon is a friendship evolution, you could go for a Level 2 Swoobat if you use certain Berries that boost friendship, then use a Rare Candy, and there you go. For its level up moves, Woobat can learn Gust, Attract, Confusion, Endeavor, Air Cutter, Imprison, Assurance, Amnesia, Air Slash, Psychic, Calm Mind, Future Sight, and Simple Beam. Its evolved form Swoobat doesn't learn any moves only it can learn, and there isn't much difference between their level up moves, because when Woobat when going through the game, I would recommend evolving it right away.
I will go over Swoobat's TM and TR moves, as there are some that it cannot learn as a Woobat, for TMs, it can learn Fly, Thunder Wave, Light Screen, Reflect, Safeguard, Giga Drain, Charm, Steel Wing, Rain Dance, Imprison, Swift, Fake Tears, U-turn, Speed Swap, Psycho Cut, Trick Room, Round, Acrobatics, and a few others, and for TRs, it can learn Psyshock, Baton Pass, Shadow Ball, Heat Wave, Taunt, Trick, Skill Swap, Energy Ball, Nasty Plot, Stored Power, Ally Switch, Venom Drench, Psychic Fangs, and a few other moves, and for Tutor moves, it can learn Expanding Force and Dual Wingbeat.
Going over Swoobat's stats, it has a really good Speed stat, but the rest of its stats are kind of below average, it has a base Special Attack of 77, and when you compare it to most of the top threats, base 77 is kind of weak in comparison. I will go over the positives first, Swoobat has Simple for its Ability, and it has access to moves like Calm Mind or Nasty Plot, I would recommend Calm Mind, and you could go for a flinch set with Air Slash, Thunder Wave, and Attract while holding the King's Rock. Swoobat can be a decent Dynamax user, because when holding the Weakness Policy, if Swoobat can withstand a super effective hit, which isn't easy as Swoobat isn't that defensive of a Pokémon, and it can use Max Airstream to boost its Speed, and then once Dynamax wears off, it can use Stored Power to deal heavy damage, and it can use Heat Wave as a coverage option against Steel-type Pokémon. Another good thing about Swoobat is that after getting enough Calm Mind boosts, it can use Baton Pass to give those boosts to a powerful Special sweeper so they can sweep entire teams.
That's the good out of the way, Swoobat is entirely outclassed by better Pokémon Sigilyph and Xatu have better stats than Swoobat, and as for Psychic/Flying-type Pokémon in terms of stats, Galarian Articuno outclasses all three of them, and if you are wondering about Double Battles, there is no reason to use Swoobat in Double Battles, while Max Airstream is very overpowered, you are better off using some of the better Pokémon, like Galarian Moltres, Charizard, Togekiss, Dragonite, Talonflame, and many others, as they are way better Max Airstream users than Swoobat.
I did check to see how many Pokémon get Simple for the Ability, and the only few Pokémon that can get it are Numel and the Bidoof line, and they are not available in Sword & Shield, and despite being a great Ability, all the Pokémon that Simple for their Ability are unviable in the competitive scene.
